Charlotte Radiology needed a symbol for a new minimally invasive procedure used to treat fibroids, a noncancerous uterine tumor. Fibroids are the most common uterine tumor in the female reproductive system. The benign muscular uterine tumors are found in 25-40% of all women ages 35 and older. They are terribly painful and up until now, the only treatment was a hysterectomy.
We developed a mark that would immediately be identified as feminine. It was also important to give it a modern look and feel as the technology behind the procedure is considered to be cutting edge. The logo was well received and 10 weeks after running it, Charlotte Radiology added 112 new, self referred patients.
