In 1954, Eastern Radiologists (ERI) was founded in North Carolina. The practice was located within Pitt County Memorial Hospital (known today as Vidant Medical Center) until an outpatient imaging center was opened in 1979. From day one, ERI has experienced continuous growth and expansion, breaking new ground along the way: First ultrasound in Pitt County, followed by the first CT scanner. First facility in the state to achieve breast ultrasound accreditation. Their commitment to innovation continues now with the most advanced open wide-bore MRI and breakthrough 3D breast biopsy in the state. Their Breast Imaging Center was one of the first in North Carolina to achieve the esteemed status of Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, as awarded by the American College of Radiology. Today ERI employs more than 50 radiologists and serves 13 hospitals and six outpatient facilities.
We put together a 120+ page site highlighting their staff, facilities, overview of the procedures they offer, a content management system and completely responsive interface.
