
The mission of Artist A Day is to raise awareness of fine art on a global scale. They work to establish personal connections between professional artists and people who simply love art. From their perspective, artists tend to be both undervalued and under appreciated. Through a membership base of over one million people, Artistaday.com is able to bring immediate and lasting exposure to artists who would otherwise remain largely unknown.
The site itself was designed in black and gray tones, creating a clean canvas on which the artwork could truly shine. Artistaday’s look, feel and overall brand of is intentionally minimalist, putting the art front and center instead of the company. It is comprised of the homepage, archives, about us, user gallery, guest curator pages and more than 3100 featured artist pages showcasing 17 different categories of art. To date, it’s served over 1.6 billion pages. That’s a lot of art.
